Lennox AC Facts
Lennox has been a manufacturing cooling system for more than 100 years. And over the years, they have made systems for commercial, residential, and industrial purposes -- all top of the line! For homeowners, there are three Lennox AC units available:

- The Merit Series
- The Elite Series
All of the Lennox products are Energy Star rated and have SEER Energy Ratings ranging from 13 to 21.2.

Trane® AC Facts
Trane products pride themselves on building units that last, hence the tagline "It's hard to stop a Trane®." There are nine units available for homeowners to choose from classified by their SEER ratings, which range from a low of 13 to a high of 20.0. Similar to Lennox, Trane® offers their customers exceptional quality units at a very good price -- win-win!

Lennox and Trane® AC Warranties
Trane® offers a 60-day limited warranty on all AC units they sell, which covers any manufacturer defects on parts for ten years. Trane® will replace parts, but the cost of installation is not covered.
Lennox offers a bit more under their warranty, including:
- The Dave Lennox Signature® Collection: 10-year warranty on parts and a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger.
- The Elite Series: 5-year warranty on parts, 10-year warranty on the heat exchanger, and 20-years or "limited lifetime" for other parts.
- The Merit Series: Similar to The Elite Series warranty.
