We at Rescue Air want to help you to learn new ways to increase your home efficiency while decreasing your environmental impact. Rescue Air provides geothermal, solar powered and fully variable speed heating and air conditioning systems higher than 25 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating). We also have an array of home automation products that can make being a smart consumer cutting edge and fun!

Our readily available renewable energy options increase HVAC efficiency, improve air quality and maintain comfort in your home. We also educate homeowners on these convenient and affordable products, helping them obtain long-term fixes with our fast and fair financing options.

Rescue Air is rewriting the book on how to educate homeowners and providing high quality services with our highly trained specialists. We know the products and can convey the message like no one else.

For instance, did you know most systems use ozone-depleting R-22- an HCFC (hydrochlorofluorocarbon) derivative? We actively work to remove and recycle these products or move you to the more responsible R-410a, which is substantially more environmentally friendly.

The world has actively worked to phase out R-22 since 1987. Check out this link to learn more about your “Freon”.

Solar Tax Credit

The Federal Investment Tax Credit, or ITC, is available to Texas residents who make the switch to solar energy. This reduces the amount of taxes paid by 30% of the full cost of your solar energy system. That means that installing a $10,000 system will give you a credit for $3,000 on your federal income tax.

Water Source Heat Pumps

A water source heat pump, or WSHP, is another great way to keep your home warm in the winter and cool in summer without a huge impact to the environment. They provide zoned comfort and are highly rated for their energy efficiency. This is because water is the world’s most efficient way to move energy. They also operate at lower temperatures and allow heat to be stored, reducing the thermal waste of other HVAC systems.

Modern WSHP’s operate at about 18 to 20 SEER and certain units can reach efficiencies of up to 27 SEER.
