There’s nothing better on the market than a Lennox furnace. If your system overheats or experiences a similar malfunction, you can simply reset your furnace. Here are the 4 steps needed to reset your Lennox furnace, Find your electrical panel and switch the breaker that controls your furnace, and have it up and running again in seconds.
How To Reset a Lennox Furnace
Find your electrical panel and switch off the electrical supply to your furnace. This will eliminate the risk of any electrical injuries.
Flip the circuit breaker switch labeled “Furnace” or “Heating System” into the “Off” position.
Look at the control panel on your furnace. The control panel could be located on the bottom panel on downflow furnaces or the top panel on upflow models.
Once you find the control panel, lift the panel up and away from the appliance — you can set this aside for now.
Examine your furnace and look for a raised button or switch to the right of the ignition control box (or the “Limit Control” switch).
Press and release the limit control switch to rest your Lennox furnace.
To replace the furnace control access panel, follow these instructions in reverse.
Flip the “Furnace” or “Heating System” switch to the “On” position.
